hello everyone!! i went to a salon this week and got a builder gel set on top of my natural nails to keep them strong. however, i am having extreme sensory overload about them .. it feels like i have gumballs on top of my nails. are they too thick?

They look right to me. Builder gel is thicker so it’s going to feel chunkier.
No they’re a normal thickness for builder gel. But if it feels too thick for you, you can always ask for a thinner layer either way.
Seems fine but I would file the under side of the free edge to prevent lifting and this would also make the tip a bit thinner. That’s just preference tho.
