I initially wasn't sure this combo would work. While swatching Always, Now, and Forever I noticed the maroon jellyish base was a little on the sheer side in one coat. I wondered if maybe it could work as a topper. It's heavy on the shimmer though, so I was worried that that would overpower any color/polish underneath.
Tried it and was very happily surprised that it works beautifully over a magnetic! It resulted in this prugly-like shimmer with a pink magnetic glow just under the surface.
Last two slides represents what it looks like in most indoor lighting (without any direct light). Gold shimmer with a subtle pink magenetic. Direct lighting transforms the colors and there's this green that comes from somewhere??? haha, and the pink absolutely lights up 💕
