I can’t tell if it’s me seeing them being distinctively different or if they’re the same or extremely similar and I’m being too picky or selective.
I say no-they’re not at all the same. My sister says it’s very very close to the PR swatch color.

Phoenix indie polish in Agata Roxa

To my eye the Phoenix one looks more warm toned with less blue. Totally different purple to my eye but it’s hard to tell with swatch pics sometimes!
Yours is red purple, the swatches and description say blue purple. Definitely not the same 😥

I did a quick swatch of Ethereal violet wings and it looks to me like it more closely resembles the Phoenix PR pics
They look different to me but one photo is Phoenix (pink purple) and one photo is “EDK” (blue purple).
It’s two different colors.

Yea, that’s simply the wrong hue. Maybe they over did it on the pink shimmer mica in your batch and it’s pulling the purple to appear more red.
To be honest, this is one of the reasons I’ve stopped buying multichromes. I feel like they are rarely true to promo photos. Every brand wants to convince you that the shift is dramatic and intense, but you rarely get to actually see it outside of studio beauty lighting. That’s no excuse to sell you the wrong color, but it’s a trend I’ve noticed in my own experiences with polishes disappointing me once they are on.
