I’m a DIY girlie and I use the GelX method, but I’m really struggling to find tips that work well. I started with brands from Amazon like UnaGella and Beetles, but found that their quality and shape vary by what length/shape you buy. I had these square tips that fit beautifully; perfectly straight and sat wonderfully on my nail beds. I bought stiletto from the very same brand and they were curved downward and were oddly fitted.

Recently I bought from Sofgel, one set of coffin and one set of stiletto. Both are shaped amazing and fit really well, but the sizing is off. The stiletto nail tips are significantly smaller, the largest size not even fitting my thumbs. With the coffin tips I wear a size 4 on my thumbs, but in the stiletto the size 0 is slightly too small? Both are same length and tip line. Is this normal? It makes doing my nails so much harder. Are the Apres tips more consistent?

Also some pics of my recent set cause I’m proud of them 🥲. You can see the thumbs don’t really fit but that’s the largest tip size in the box.
