Skin type: thin pale skin on the sensitive and dry side but not too reactive
I have come to adore sheetmasks and eye patches but the cost for such one use products just wasn't sitting well with me, although I still get them especially if on discount as an occasional treat! So purchasing reusable silicone eye patches and a mask as seen on the first picture was a logical next step for me! I have been trying out different products underneath and I wanted to share my experience and have a discussion on what products pair well with these silicone patches!
EYE PATCHES: What I like the most about using these is how they smooth out the undereye area, although I did do the mistake of putting them too high the first time and they made a print on my aegyo sal. I noticed how the appearance of the inner line that usually divides the eye bag and rest of the skin is complete minimised and I looked much more refreshed!
MASK: Since I bought a mask that has one size that definitely doesn't fit me I have decided cut it into three pieces, one for forehead and nose that I put a headband, and I will se how I will cut the rest, I will probably keep the ear attachment to the middle part. What amazed me is how much this vanished my forehead lines that I have from raising my eyebrows.
Here are Asian products I have used with them, sometimes paired with 85% glycerin:
– Beauty of Joseon Glow serum with propolis and niacinamide
-Haruharu radiance gel cream with 5% niacinamide
PADS FOR SMALLER AREAS: If I knew how good reusable silicone products are for skincare I would have bought a set similar to the ones on the second picture immediately, and probably will when I 'feel like I got my money's worth' from the ones I have bought, but I definitely reccomend getting these straight if you are thinking about this since our faces are so different that there is no mask of one size will suit anyone that well.
Does anyone else use these? What do you pair with them, what are your tips and tricks, or insight in general? I have found that BOJ glow serum works especially great for me, as well as leaving the mask on for as long as possible. I definitely recommend trying this out if you have dull or dry skin, want to minimise lines especially those from lack of hydration, and those who enjoy slugging like I do!
