The product is Biore's Ouchi de Esthe Smoothing Massage Face Wash Gel! I haven't seen anybody talk about it anywhere despite it being such an amazing product!
For starters, I have sensitive combination skin, and have been on tretinoin for the past 2 years. This is the only cleanser I've tried that leaves my skin feeling clean and doest make my face sting. It's a gel formula and doesn't foam whatsoever, but it cleans my skin really well and doesn't leave my face dry afterwards like other cleansers I've tried before.
I used to struggle with insane irritation and breakouts from tretinoin, but after making a couple switches, including switching to this cleanser, my skin has improved so much and I rarely break out. I was reluctant to try it at first because I thought it would be far too stripping and not suitable for my sensitive skin like most japanese cleansers, but after seeing my Japanese friends with great skin using it, I was influenced.
It's on the cheaper side compared to alot of other asian beauty products, but I swear it works so so so well. You can't literally find it at any drugstore in japan! Please give it a try!
