I had this idea when I first came across Snailworks’ Metal Coat a couple of years ago. I just picked it up, and I’m so glad I did! I love the way this turned out. Some of the stamps are a little janky but not too bad for a first try, I’ll definitely be giving this one another go! I for sure had to trust the process with this one. The downside is you can’t use topcoat with this polish as it’ll re-wet and remove the shine, so this one will be short lived.
I used 2 coats of Snailworks – Metal Coat, let it dry for 20 mins, then used some metal stamping dies I had and a dotting tool to press the shapes into the polish. It was a tricky balance making sure the polish wasn’t still too wet but not too dry. Then I used the included buffer to smooth it out and reveal the shine!
