I’ve had this happen more than a couple times- I will research a product + its ingredient list from YesStyle and then buy it from Stylevana for the affordable price, only to find out that Stylevana somehow was selling a new/old version of said product with quite a few differences in what was originally thought to be the ingredient list.

As someone with extremely fussy skin, this is very frustrating 🙁 these Isntree Onion toner pads do not mention Polysorbate 60 on Yesstyle, but the product which arrived from Stylevana does 🙁 kinda irks me that Stylevana doesn’t update ingredient lists on their website so you can know what version you’re getting.

I am confused—OY lists polysorbate 60 but only on their Korean site? Have these toner pads been reformulated? Was so looking forward to them…

  1. It’s how the regulations states the ingredients are to be presented. Onion bulb extract isn’t just the extract: it is made up of water, preservative and other ingredients as well. In this case, polysorbate.

Picture 2 is the more accurate breakdown of ingredients.

Some countries allow the extract listing but some countries’ regulations are more strict and require the full breakdown of what’s in the extract, which means water is almost always the first ingredient. Hence picture 2.
