There’s a whole rainbow with various shades and tones and we want them all

Husband knows nothing. Never too many options is correct.

Get him to start painting his nails. Then you can both have too many.

Husband needs to hush.
My OCD needs to hush, it wants to rearrange your polishes into the ‘right’ bin. Lmao

I say you just need some better storage options that allow you to leverage vertical space. 😉

Too large for what?
I think when it comes to polish or other small craft supplies, good storage can make them feel manageable rather than overwhelming. It comes down to our mental model & visual clutter in our space – I think IKEA Helmer drawers are so popular because it’s 1 piece of furniture (even multiple Helmers look uniform so visually like a single piece of furniture) that hides the visual noise of all the different bottle shapes, cap shapes and colours, and polish colours too.
So if the spot you store your polish is a shared space with hubby, a good solution could be closed storage where the visual clutter is removed. Transparent multicoloured drawers like you have can look visually busy and show the “mess” of polish within.

Tell him he’s just lucky they come in such small bottles! Not like they’re gallon paint buckets 😂

I have somewhere between 800-1000 polishes. My husband says I have too many. I say I don’t have too many enough! I still get more polishes. He still lets me.

Throw the husband away lol

Every time my husband tells me I have too much of something, he gets the job of building me something to hold it. You need a wall of polish. Backlit even!

If you’ve used everything at least once it’s technically cheaper than having gone to get your nails done at the salon. Ask him if he’d prefer you spend more money 🤔😂

I want to go through all of these bins, pick up each bottle, say “oooooh”, and put them down until I’ve seen them all.
