Hi i bought this roundlab sunscreen at my local asian beauty retailer in the usa. They had different skus and packaging for the sunscreen. I chose to get this one because the packaging was mainly all korean sand the other one was more english so i assumed the other ones were the new usa formulated ones.

Does anyone know if i got a korean formulated ones based from the photos? Tia

Do you have the packaging with the ingredients on it? If it was sold in the U.S., it’s almost 100% the U.S. version. It’s not legal to sell the Korean versions in the U.S., but that’s not to say someone isn’t bending the rules. The ingredients will tell you for sure.

others posting that the PA system isn’t approved in the US are wrong. While not approved or standard here, brands are still allowed to use it. It is purely voluntary here. I’ll post an example of a made in the US/western filter sunscreen that has the PA + included.

Your bottle is the Korean formulation, the store you went to is bending the rules/still had old stock, lucky you! This is what the US formulation looks like, with 45 SPF Broad Spectrum and drug facts listed on the back. I work in a k-beauty store and this is what we sell now. It’s a bit thicker than the Korean formula and has a slight sunscreen smell to it, but it goes away after 10mins when it dries down. Still moisturizing, but not nearly as elegant as the Korean formula… some brands still use the PA++++ rating to make it seem like it’s the Korean formulation, but if it has the drug facts listed on the back, it’s a formula for the US.
