Hi everyone! I'm the maker of Opal Theory Polish and I'm so excited to share the launch of my shop with you!

Opal Theory is about celebrating the beauty of the everyday world and capturing it in color and light for your nails. Inspired by the fire of gemstones, the crash of ocean waves, the sweetness of fruit, and the moments of joy that sustain us through life.

Founded by a materials engineer with a creative side, Opal Theory Polish is female-owned, based in North Carolina, and proudly inclusive and supportive of all people.

Now, onto the polishes…

Maybe I'm a bit crazy, but I'm launching with 4 collections – 3 for preorders to be shipped in ~4 weeks, and a quad of 4 glow in the dark polishes that are ready to ship now. Use code LAUNCH10 for 10% off your order, plus free shipping over $50.

The Opalescent Collection has 6 polishes: 3 flakie-packed opal-inspired colors, and 3 matching shimmer colors.

The Elements Collection is a set of 5 polishes inspired by the classical elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Spirit.

The Neon Collection contains 8 neon shades, each with a touch of shimmer to them.

The Cat Eye Quad has 4 glow in the dark pearlescent colors inspired by the eye colors of our feline friends: green, blue, aqua, and orange.

Thank you so much for checking out my polishes!

  1. Oh wow, they’re gorgeous! Congratulations on the launch, I hope they do brilliantly. I’m not in the US or I’d be ordering immediately. I bet you understand how multichromes work, I’ve been really struggling to work out why you get the longest wavelengths head-on.
