Taskmaster is not just in my top 5 favorite shows of all time, it may even be no. 1. It's irreverent, stupid, incredibly sharp, witty, so well designed, and just FUN. I love it and recommend it to literally anyone I come near. Watch it. 20 seasons of the OG UK version are FREE to watch on YouTube. You have no excuse. Be Kind to yourself and watch it! Another aspect of it that I love is that it has such a CLEAR design aesthetic right out of the gate. It is so clear and recognizable, that it doesn't always happen so early in a show. The rich gaudy reds and golds of the studio, and the typewriter and wax seals…iconic. I would probably cry if I saw a task sitting on my desk one day. 😝😭 I binge it all the time, and some days it's the only thing keeping me upright in this crazy ass world we currently live in…so of course I had to make a mani of it. The filigree of the studio backdrops was a perfect fit, and then I had to do the iconic task envelope and wax seals. Are you ready for a new episode tonight?!
