Always heard about bubble bath. Never could find it and realized it’s in a special box and is a repair type polish.
This kind of…sucks? This is two coats. I paint regularly so I know techniques for decent coverage but woof.
Is this normal? I’ll do another couple coats, still.

That’s what Bubble Bath looks like on me. I can’t use it. I’m not sure about a special box – mine is just sold as a normal bottle, but I just can’t get it to be not-streaky and whole mess. If I add more coats, then it’s less streaky, but the color becomes really chalky and looks terrible on me.
I’ve heard that the Bubble Bath gel polish is better, but I haven’t tried it, so I can’t confirm that.
No. Bubble bath is a buildable pink and comes in a regular bottle. It will be labeled as “Bubble Bath”.
It looks best over white. And you have to do the sheerest of layers. It requires a lot of patience if you use the lacquer vs the gel. Also what brand are you using? Bubble Bath was originally an OPI color, I believe.
I got one of those unlabeled mini bottles of just the regular nail lacquer version and it looked just as bad. It did apply better after I added a LOT of thinner.
I have this too (the nail envy version like yours) and it’s exactly the same. I hate it.
I was wondering if it would help make it less streaky to add a drop or two of thinner? I don’t have any on hand but I’ve been meaning to pick some up for my top coat anyway. May as well experiment since I’m not going to wear it in it’s current state. :/
This one also…. collects? I guess you could say? At the bottom of my nail, right near my nail beds. Kind of pools down there and looks really weird. Maybe I’m using coats that are too thick, but that’s not something that happens with other polishes, so I don’t think that’s it. Either way, I probably wouldn’t use my bottle anymore, which is a shame. The color itself is lovely.
