I know it's not impressive, but I have really severe tremors and didn't think I could do it, but I did! It's a little messy, but it's the best I could do. Does anyone have any advice for compensating for the tremors?

  1. when I was teen and just started doing my nails I would paint thin layers until they added up, just making sure the layers were even and pick off any excess that got on my skin in the shower. they normally looked pretty nice despite my technique lol.

good job getting them this neat with tremors! love that colour too!

I don’t have advice about tremors, but I agree these look great. Painting your nails is hard enough without tremors! I used to put chapstick on my cuticles and around my nails on my skin and that helped the extra come off really easily. I’m not a nail tech or even a knowledgeable amateur, so I apologize if that isn’t good advice for any reason, but it’s what I did as a teenager!

  3. Anchor your hand!
I don’t have a tremor so i anchor by grabbing onto the clients finger with my pinky, (this does take practice and my pinky had to get pretty strong for this to work) so you would anchor with either more fingers or by figuring out how to anchor more of your hand in some way. Definitely put your elbow on a surface too for it to rest on as much as possible
(I’m not being rude saying it this bluntly lol my friend has a tremor so this is just coming from what i remember her telling me about learning to do nails lol)
And also don’t ever put the brush on your cuticle or near the edges but put it like 3/4ths way up so that you can be anchored and just slide it up a little

… anchor is no longer a word my brain recognizes hahaha
