Everything I used up this summer ☀️

Lots of opinions on these empties! Get ready!

  1. Clinique Pink Honey: WNRP A very comfortable moisturising tinted pink lip balm. Scent-free (aside from the typical black honey /slight crayon/ unscented smell). I love how easy this was to apply – I didn't need a mirror. By the end of it, I was craving a bit more depth to the shade, just a little deeper for my personal liking. Which brings me to…
  2. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Gracefully Pink: WRP I can't wait to buy this again! I'm waiting until next spring (to maximise freshness) because this is ultimately my favourite Spring/Summer shade. It's a beautiful, deep, warm pink that suits me perfectly. Matte Revolutions are very comfortable for me to wear and pan, I think I use at least one up every year. Something I will always come back to and enjoy.
  3. Romand Juicy Lasting Tints in Mulled Peach and Pink Pumpkin: WNRP I have used up quite a few of these by now, and I think I'm a bit over this old formula. It leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth. Pink Pumpkin is a PERFECT pinky red, which I have since bought in the new formula. There is a slight difference, but the bitter taste is gone. There are a lot of excellent lip stain formulas out there, so I'm happy to hunt for a Pink Pumpkin dupe among them.
  4. Homeoplasmine: Repurchased! Always have one of these on the go. It's my favourite lip balm of all time. Loved by makeup artists and celebrities all over the world. If you know, you know. I seriously don't know why I buy anything else.
  5. Clinique Waterproof High Impact Mascara: WRP This is a fantastic, reliable, sensitive eye mascara. It takes about a month to get to its best. But I'm currently using a mascara that performs just as well, without waiting for the formula to "get going". If I experience eye sensitivity in the future (ie, hayfever season), I'll be coming back to this.
  6. Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Aqua Fresh: Repurchased! Both my husband and I really enjoy this sunscreen. It's incredibly matte and doesn't disturb makeup, which is what I look for. No scent, no grease, doesn't annoy my skin, no frills, just pure SPF. Can't beat the price either.
  7. Ultraviolette Lean Screen: WNRP I feel like I have to address this on here, because I've panned it several times before. I am aware of the controversy with this product (A testing facility found it to only have an SPF of 5, not 50). From personal experience, I have never had any sunburns or even a tan while using Lean Screen. If it had only an SPF of 5, I imagine I would have experienced that side effect. However, they did recently change the packaging and formula to make it more "squeezable". The new formula was irritating my skin and not wearing as well, so I ended up using it on my neck and chest instead. It's entirely possible this change resulted in lower SPF. Due to all of this, I won't be purchasing this product again and I don't reccomend it to anyone.
  8. The Ordinary Matrixyl + HA: WNRP Unfortunately, this was irritating my skin. I purchased it because it was cheaper than the Multi Peptide serum. But I have since returned to that formulation and will be sticking with it from now on. I managed to use this up as a body serum without any issues.
  9. BONUS L'Occitaine Shea Butter Hand Cream and Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Balm: Repurchased! Everybody loves these for a reason. The hand cream has been a favourite of mine for 7 years, perfect and nourishing for my hands after washing the dishes and doing pottery lol. The lemon butter cuticle balm is excellent value for money. I put it on before bed, and actually see a difference in the morning. The tin lasts ages too.
