Hi! Just wondering if you have specific products or a routine targeted for quick, intensive recovery during times when skin barrier gets damaged or as aftercare of invasive treatments?
I started microneedling and injecting skin boosters (at 1mm, not any deeper!) like exosomes, pdrn and such at home. In the first 24 hours, i only apply a cooling sheet mask.
From second day onwards, i begin my current routine for the first week aftercare; to help speed up healing and recovery of the microwounds and microinjuries from needles.
Still quite new to at-home mesotherapy so i’m on the lookout for products and routine changes to optimize skin healing and recovery. If you take any supplements for that, i’d love to know too!
Recovery routine:
Cleanser- Whipped Fig, has ceramides and just using what i still have on hand.
Toner- BringGreen Artemisia Calming Balance, to soothe + calm + hydrate my skin after the irritation from microneedling
Ampoule- Manyo bifida biome complex, supports skin microbiomes for more resiliency and peptides aid in wound healing.
Lotion- ongredients calming skin barrier lotion, contains cica for soothing, its patented NB P-complex from vegetable extracts and 9-peptide complex to fortify our protective moisture barrier.
Cream- rejuvenex, 0.8% pdrn which helps stimulate tissue regeneration and repair of damaged skin. By the same pharmaceutical that produces Rejuran, Pharm Research. I only use this right after microneedling and meso since jury’s still out on the absorption rate of pdrn molecules when applied topically. Major reason why i started looking into microneedling and meso to administer for pdrn.
Let me know what you think about my recovery routine and if you’d change anything 🙂
