Since my last post got many traction, I decided to review the products Iβve used and shout out those good one. The one I am sharing today is Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream. I used it twice a day for a full month while tracking pores and acne on a skincare app. To be honest, the result surprised me β the level of acne decreased dramatically and my overall score went up by 20%. My skin felt calmer within the first week, and by week four, my photos showed less blotchiness and a smoother texture.
Pros
* Lightweight but deeply moisturizing β sinks in fast.
* Calming formula with panthenol and madecassoside (great for sensitive skin).
* No greasy residue, layers well under SPF or makeup.
* Great price for a barrier-repair cream that actually works.
Cons
* Not a βwowβ product overnight β results are gradual.
* If you have very oily skin, you may prefer a gel-type moisturizer.
Bottom line: Subtle but effective. Keeps irritation down, hydration up, and feels like a safe daily choice for anyone looking to strengthen their skin barrier without the heavy, sticky feel.
Even though I also used other products during the test but the soothing texture definitely calm down my skin. Itβs so gentle that even if you have a sudden breakout, you can totally be fine with it.
