Has anyone else noticed a change in Bag Balm over the last year or two? I contacted Bag Balm today to ask if they’ve change anything in their manufacturing process and attached a photo of my new tin vs what the contents of my old one looked like. The consistency is different (more like straight Vaseline) and the smell isn’t as strong. There are also air bubbles whipped in. They responded almost immediately saying nothing has changed and oxidation over time will make my new one more like the old. What? I feel like if I let it sit for six months to “oxidize” it would likely look and feel almost exactly like it does now. I ordered this one online, so I’m going to try another from a grocery store to see if maybe my tin is a factory error somehow.
