With looming FDA import issues, I thought I'd make a little PSA about how my HG sunscreen has handled this during the initial FDA crackdown and see if anyone else knows of brands that have done the same. The last time I ordered Canmake Mermaid UV Skin Gel from Yamibuy, I did receive the tubes with SPF marked on the packaging, but there was a sticker on the box stating that there would be US versions that would now be sold without SPF claims, but the formula remains exactly the same.
Now it's just labeled as a "Skin Gel" (and it is a fantastic makeup primer) but you can still see the UV filters in the ingredients on the US site, they simply removed all mention of sun protection. There is nothing illegal about these ingredients in the US, just the drug claims. So this seems like a good solution if you can find a way to communicate it to your customers, as it is a bit of a "iykyk" situation.

I think this is a really interesting work around and would love to know if anyone else knows of brands who have done this.
Also anyone looking for Asian formulations that are warehoused in the US, Yamibuy has a ton right now and super fast shipping, just an fyi. I've ordered many times and always received the Korean/Japanese formulas as recently as 4 days ago.
