Which method is the best for applying lash serum?

I’ve been growing my natural lashes for 3 months now from making my own diy lash serum with aloe Vera gel+ Castor & Vitamin e oil. It definitely thicken and lengthened my lashes as well stoping them from falling out. I mainly use the brush method to apply directly to whole lashes as the other method is just the top root lash line. I’m curious is the lash pin more effective than the brush? How do you guys use yours.
