I'm on a new dermatologist prescribed program that includes an anti-aging cream and exome cell serum. Key active ingredients include…
- Tretinoin
- Niacinamide
- Hyaluronic Acid
I'm finding I want to address both hydration and moisturization in a more effective way than I am presently. My derm recommended I use Vanicream's products as the last I apply to my face at night. I've layered in both their daily facial moisturizer, followed by their thicker moisturizing cream. I think these products are good, but my skin is still feeling thirsty by the morning. I think I need something more.
Doing some searching on here, it seems Korean skincare brand Aestura is very popular and, comparatively, reasonably priced. But, I am a little overwhelmed by all their different product lines. And, frustratingly, sometimes their product descriptions mix and interchange the terms "hydrate" and "moisturize" — presumably because that product addresses both issues. I feel like I need to pick two of their products — to deeply hydrate and "lock in" moisture/moisturize.
Knowing all of the above which two Aestura products would you recommend I add to my evening routine for both hydration and moisturization?
I was thinking it might make sense to go with one of these combinations:
OPTION A:
- First: ATOBARRIER365 HYDRO ESSENCE
- Followed by: ATOBARRIER365 HYDRO SOOTHING CREAM
OPTION B:
- First: ATOBARRIER 365 LOTION
- Followed by: ATOBARRIER365 CREAM
OPTION C (combining both product lines, starting w/ "Hydro"):
- First: ATOBARRIER365 HYDRO ESSENCE
- Followed by: ATOBARRIER365 CREAM
OPTION D (combining both product lines, ending w/ "Hydro"):
- First: ATOBARRIER 365 LOTION
- Followed by: ATOBARRIER365 HYDRO SOOTHING CREAM
(I'm not acne-prone. I don't have particularly oily skin, but I do tend to dry out.)
