just wanted to share some swatches and my thoughts on the products! I hope the photos are accurate enough, i took them in front of the window and had to adjust them slightly. FYI i am on the pale side (cool leaning) and very muted/grey, so i generally look for muted tones or translucent formulas (lip) when it comes to makeup, and i prefer pink/purple. most korean "cool" tones are too bright/warm/dark on me but here are a few i was really pleased to pick up! Apologies I don't remember the prices.

    LIP

    • ETUDE sugar coloring jelly balm (07 bare pink): The application is donut shaped similar to laneige's recent launch, however having tested both I actually like the color selection from etude a bit more. Particularly, comparing the lightest shades of pink (strawberry sprinkles) and this one, I find etude's cooler toned. I do think they are less pigmented than the laneige ones though, if that is something you care about regarding lip glosses! I actually liked most of the shades available but I only copped this one! There is glitter in these glosses but for this shade in particular it's hardly noticeable. Also, nonsticky as far as lipglosses go.
    • FWEE glowy jelly pot (JN01 lavender whip): really lovely translucent, muted rosy purple! It feels sticky to apply in the pot but it glides on pretty well. I like that it doesn't leave a strong stain at all and is quite buildable!! Personally I can't see myself using this on cheeks as it does leave that sticky tacky feeling, i imagine it will transfer super easily or get your hair stuck in it if you apply it on cheeks omg.
    • NUSE care liptual (C00 code name cool): I bought this on recommendation and I really like how it tones down the lips subtly! It's very far from pigmented but it does have an effect on the color! you can mix this with other shades to tone them cooler however I haven't tried it yet! Sidenote… it don't taste good if you accidentally bite your lip omg
    • FWEE 3D changing gloss (scene lavender): compared to the previous fwee product, definitely more on the purple side than the pink side! it is more pigmented as well, but it does feel a lil bit sticky on the lips – nothing that is too bothersome though imho!
    • MERRYMONDE milk heart tint (mute milk & mauve milk): I was super excited for these because they are definitely lighter than most tints out there I have tried thanks to their translucency! mute milk is the perfect MLBB shade for me, which is something I've never found before bc they're always too bright too warm or too dark hahahaha mauve milk is also so gorgeous!! These two leave a noticeable stain immediately as tints but they're not that dark
    • COLORGRAM geek nude color cover tint (03 cool nude 21): well first of all this is not cool to me personally HAHAHA it looks neutral, however, the color is really lovely! I think the 21 refers to foundation shade (i think i'm 17 for korean shades) but due to this it does come off as a bit dark + saturated on me / does not serve the exact purpose it's meant for, but i still really like the color regardless! I will say though one complaint is packaging related – the twisty cap feels very cheap and squeaky (maybe i got a faulty one?)
    • TOOQ rough but pro lip pencil (01 hee): this is actually a rosy purple, unlike most korean lip pencils I tried that just all look orange or fluorescent on me! easy to blend out + has a nice blurring effect.

    CHEEK

    • ROMAND better than cheek (N02 vine nude): had my eye on these for a while but i wanted to buy it more cheaply in seoul than in local stores. it's the softest powder blush I've ever tried personally! The color is softly blurring and can be built up. overall good muted cool blush!
    • HOLIKA HOLIKA tinted milk cream blush (taro latte): packaging is a bit bulky but good quality. The blush has an interesting squishy creamy texture to it that doesn't feel balmy. it looks a bit brown on the swatch but it has more rosiness to it irl! the muted rosy-purple tone is great. it also comes with a puff applicator but i haven't used it yet since I prefer to use my finger.
    • FWEE mellow dual blush (MV02 icy cupid): two in one blush. this one also has a similar squishy texture to it but it feels dryer, less creamy! the light purple shade (icy) is a bit pale however is a true cool, light purple. The rosy tone (pink) also comes off as a bit browner than it is irl. It is what attracted me to the blush in the first place and it's a nice, muted rosy tone. mixed together they create a cool pink tone that is quite brightening! love the packaging on this one also
    • LILYBYRED luv beam (#02 & # 05): ok first of all. hardest blush to open in my life both of them… it's not convenient to be carrying on the go for sure. glossy, balmy texture that melts easily, and very pigmented + easy to blend! Both are the two brightest colors I got this round but I couldn't resist them they were so pretty!!

Hope any of this was helpful! hehe
