I started doing my own gel nails at home and love it, and I also bought a pack of soft gel tips but I’ve been a lil intimidated to use them. My current manicure is starting to chip so I might try tonight, but how long should my natural nails be? The tips are “short” but still significantly longer than my natural nails. I like the look of this length and feel they grow much slower when they’re a little longer so it may help the tips last longer. Is this too long to keep or should they be fingertip length? I know it doesn’t take long to grow out nails but if I fail at the soft gel I’d want to re-do my current regular gel manicure, but don’t wanna be left with stubs 🙁
