A while ago I made [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/s/mnuXphrCBY) – I’ve since used these cushions on an almost daily basis alternatively. I come back with updated insight

I’m shade 23, but I can pull off shades 21 & 25, depending on product. I have combo skin, with both dry and oily areas (both are more intense lately, it was more tame in the first post)

Previously, my conclusion was that Clio’s Fixer cushion was my personal favorite, but that changed to Amuse. The Fixer is still in my top 3, but:

I mentioned before it’s not very dry friendly, and my skin barrier has been horrible lately, so I realized it applies patchy and is hard to blend on dry patchy-ish skin, even with prep. This is mostly my own skill issue, but if you have dryness/barrier issues similar to me, you might want to keep it in mind

On the other hand, Amuse Dew Power Vegan was very forgiving on dry and patchy skin. It even moisturized it some, and my T-zone, which tends to overcompensate with sebum, was doing better when I used this. In my older post I said it might get patchy or flaky, but that’s not the case anymore? Somehow? It stayed so beautifully put after long days of hauling ass and sweating all over. Now that it’s winter, the performance is even better.

The 3CE cushion formula stands very close to the Amuse cushion. They are almost identical, but I realize the cushion vs. mesh makes a huge difference. Mesh is so much better and even, easier to control the amount you pick up. Also, Amuse’s puff is easier to clean and doesn’t stain. Can’t say the same for 3CE.. but I have other good things to say about it in the original post, they are still true.

Clio mesh glow is very similar to the above too, with the mesh boob as well. until now I’ve only had the mini but it’s great enough that I just ordered the regular one – if you haven’t seen the Clio 30 year anniversary set you should check it out on OLIVEYOUNG. Amazing deal 🙈

On the other hand, the Clio New Founwear cushion stays losing. Every time I use it I hate it more. It’s not dry or oily friendly,.. I previously recommended this for people with oily skin but I take it back. If you already have great skin with no dryness or oily concerns, maybe this’ll work out.

Otherwise it brings an overbearing feeling (when you ooze sebum and you can feel it trapped in its own layer between your skin and the foundation!!) I will say though, that’s probably an indicator of a great staying power. Just not for me.

Hera Skin Radiant Glow cushion, I found out it has the same issues as the above. I think when I praised this in my initial post I was having a placebo effect from how great the Black Cushion is. This one is not great, and not even glowy. Maybe the glow I experienced the first few times was my own sebum…

Not sure how they dropped the ball so hard with this one and why it took me more uses to notice. If you’re gonna buy a Hera cushion, this is not the one to go for

My stances on Hera’s Black cushion and romand’s Nu Zero are the same. In that they are so very good! the former is pricey but I’d say it’s worth it, after having used it for a while
