The first picture is from the day I got them and they’ve looked pretty much the same every day since (Oct 4th?). These are matte acrylic overlays.
I woke up and looked at my nails, super shocked too see all this dark discoloration. It looks gross 🤢
I tried the 70% alcohol pads that I have, but it’s not really doing anything. What happened? I didn’t do anything super out of the ordinary last night.

I’m not sure what’s going on in this particular situation, but I’ve found matte topcoat just gets… dirty? after a while. Dingy. Even though I wash my hands several times a day and am not hard on my hands/don’t do anything that would make them dirty. I’ve only ever lasted about a week before I can tell they’re discoloring and have to remove the color. Never had this problem with shiny topcoat.
